THIS WEEK WE ARE LEARNING ABOUT FEELINGS, LETTER V, WRITING LETTERS IN OUR NAMES AND USING ART MATERIALS TO CREATE INDEPENDENTLY!

We will begin to start challenging the children to the next level of learning. We are in need of Magazines for collage making, Elmer's Glue, Washable Markers, Buttons, Pom Poms and Stickers. I would like for the children to have their own art crayon box, so they can learn how to take care of their own personal art materials. We will label their boxes! We don't use crayons at the school due to pieces breaking which can be choking hazards.

Also, we have a sticker behavior chart in our classroom. Positive reinforcement works great with young children. We do our best to point out the good things each child does in the classroom and try to focus more on encouraging each child to make good choices. Therefore, the child who earns the most stickers gets a treasure box on Friday.

REMINDERS: Please send in wipes for your child!! We use them a lot in the classroom

and make sure they have an extra change of clothes to keep at school!
